	Over 60's Information


	Since forming this team the squad of Over 60's has risen to over 100 members.

The Norfolk Over 60's was formed in July 2000 when Norfolk was asked by another county if they could play a friendly against them. Following a meeting of the Norfolk County Management Committee on July 5th 2000, Mrs. Teresa Goldsmith and Mrs. Avril Grapes were given the go ahead to arrange a game.

Norfolk played a friendly against Cambridgeshire winning the game 20 to 12 on points and 181 to 133 on shots. Since forming this team the squad of Over 60's has risen to over 100 members, and has become a founder member of the Eastern Over 60's League along with Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

The squad meets about once a fortnight at the Lakeside Country Club at Lyng and plays internal league games.
